When my friend had her first kid, she wanted to do a baby photoshoot with Yarnwonders for her first birthday. Growing up, The Little Mermaid was her favourite movie. So, she wanted a very beach, mermaid-ish theme for the photoshoot. We already had patterns for things like octopus and jellyfish from previous customer orders. The one thing we didn't have was starfish. So the star pattern was born.
